The Garmin Edge 305 is available as a bundle with cadence and heart rate monitor which means that you are now able to monitor and record your performance and track your progress in  getting fit.

The light weight heart rate monitor is a comfortable strap that is connected wirelessly to the Edge 305 and rather clever technology eliminates interference from other heart rate monitors in your vicinity.

Garmin Nuvi 1200 and Nuvi 1300 Series Out in June

Garmin will add to their very successful Nuvi range of car sat navs in June, when they add the Nuvi 1200 and Nuvi 1300 series.  Although these are listed in their automotive section, they are also designed for use on foot, being very slim and offering a new feature called CityXplorerTM.  This is designed to help you find your way around certain, selected cities by public transport, though they haven’t said when this will be available or which cities it will cover.

 

They are advertising the Nuvi 1370, which is one of the more expensive units, including as it does, lane assist, hands free calling, and free traffic alerts for a a suggested retail price of $449.99 in the USA.
